You can control which tasks are available for a map by using the Manage Tasks dialog. The dialog lets you organize tasks by grouping them within headings that you specify, add tasks and remove tasks from the current map. In addition, you can use the dialog to browse for tasks on your local network or those that are present on a server.
At the left of the dialog there is a list of all available tasks on your machine. The list is comprised of two groups, built-in tasks that came with the application and tasks that you or your administrator added to your machine. At the right of the dialog you'll find a treeview of task groups and their members that are present in the current map.
Click the Get Tasks button to browse for a task on your local network or machine or on a server. Note that local tasks may be stored in files that have the extension .nmf. The dialog that appears provides shortcuts to places on your computer or the network from which you can open a file that contains tasks; when you click a location, it will appear in Look in, and the files and folders in the selected location will be listed at the right.

Once you select the task and click OK, the task name will be added to the list of all available tasks under the heading My Tasks at the left of the dialog.
Select the task name in the list at the left of the dialog and either drag it to the treeview at the right, double-click it, or click the arrow button in the middle of the dialog that points to the treeview.
Click the Add Group Heading button. Note that you can immediately edit the name of the heading. You can use an arrow key to move a heading to a position above or below another heading, but not into a position between tasks.
Select the task name, then use an arrow key to move the task until it is within the desired group.
Select the task in the treeview and click one of the arrow keys to move the task up or down.
Select the task and press the Delete button at the right of the dialog.
In the list at the left of the dialog select the task name, then press Export Task to save the task information to a .NMF file.
Once you've taken any of the actions above and want your changes to appear in the map, click OK. To restore changes to a state before you displayed the dialog, click Cancel.
